LARVAE AND POST-LARVAE SHRIMP FEEDING

Waterconditioning

Aquatic organisms need optimal water conditions as they minimize the risk of deficiencies and ensure the healthy growth of shrimp increasing their survival rate. The bacterial control is therefore a key to avoid some pathogens and toxic agents, which can harm the production performance.

  • BACTOSAFE S

Selected to treat the soil of the ponds

  • BACTOSAFE H

For the regulation of the microbial ecosystem of culture water

  • BACTOSAFE P

For the regulation of the microbial eosystem of culture water

Microalgae

The use of microalgae as source of vegetable protein in the first stages of shrimp is a key to reach good quality PL. It can be perfectly combined with the other types of diets. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that microalgae play an important role in the maintenance of quality water.

  • SPIRULINA

Feed material for larvae and broodstock

  • 3T ALGAE

Microalgae to feed larval stages in shrimp

Artemia

The use of Artemia remains the most important live feed in shrimp hatcheries. The benefits of live prey for larval and post-larval stages guarantee high levels of proteins with an excellent digestibility.

  • ARTEMIA CYST

    Artemia for fish and shrimp

  • VITELLUS

Complete feed for shrimp and fish larvae and post larvae

Larval Diet

Live feed provided at an early larval stage is a necessity, as larvae’s digestive system is still in development. Artificial diets are the best solution to go to a complete regime based on quality nutritional formulations and thus, progressively switch from live feeds. Thanks to some recent advances in shrimp feeding regimes, hatcheries can grow their shrimp on larval diets and achieve great results.

  • ROYAL SEAFOOD

Micro extruded and crumble feed for shrimp larvae

Nursery Diet

The nursery stage is an important moment in shrimps’ life as they are being prepared to transit from hatchery to the fattening phase. Furthermore, at this moment, other factors come into play such as quarantine, biosecurity control or acclimation… Therefore the nursery diets need to demonstrate high water stability and a great protein digestibility. By providing quality nutrition in that phase, our customers achieve a cost-efficient production of strong post-larvae in a shorter period of time and without any negative impact on the water quality.

  • MEM NATURE

Complete organic feed for shrimp larvae and post larvae

  • MEM

Complete feed for shrimp larvae and post larvae

  • MPEX

Complete feed for shrimp larvae and post larvae

  • WEAN

Complete feed for shrimp post larvae

Broodstock

One of the most important challenges in the larval culture is to guarantee an excellent quality of Nauplius. Our Broodstock diet offers a good nutritional balance as it is specifically formulated to meet the known dietary needs of shrimp at this stage. It ensures the physiological strength of shrimps enabling them to produce gonads, get good spawns and produce Nauplius with excellent condition and shape. Furthermore, BernAqua’s Broodstock diet is highly palatable.

  • ROYAL OYSTER

    Maturation feed for shrimp broodstock
