Los peces marinos contienen grandes cantidades de \u00e1cidos grasos (DHA, EPA y ARA) en sus fosfol\u00edpidos. Como estos \u00c1cidos Grasos no se pueden biosintetizar, se consideran absolutamente esenciales (AGE). Aunque los rot\u00edferos y la artemia se utilizan a menudo como alimento vivo para las larvas de peces marinos, se consideran pobres en AGE.
